Post 2, Holidays!

Hello friends, in this post I will talk about my best holidays. This vacation was in the last summer, that is, in the current year, 2018. It was a totally improvised trip, maybe that's why it was so enjoyed.  The trip went to Punta Arenas. It was exciting. It was the first one that went on the plane and that went so far. I went with my girlfriend and with two more couples, from my two childhood friends. In Punta Arenas we had a very large house unoccupied for us and a very nice family received us. We went to wonderful places, like “Tierra del Fuego” or “Torres del Paine”. We also toured the cities of Puerto Natales and Punta Arenas, like the Ovejero or the Cemetery of Punta Arenas, without a doubt the most spectacular that I have seen. We trekked in the Magallanes National Reserve and enjoyed a climate very different from ours. The culture of the city was also important, such as myths, stories and learning from the Selknam culture. 

Without a doubt, one day I will return.

Hello friends!

In this opportunity I will talk about animals.
For many people, the animal is a very special being, it can be a company for the elderly, a companion for a farmer, a friend for a child or unfortunately a business for the industry.

My favorite animal to have at home is the dog, I have had approximately 5 dogs, but all have ended up run over.

I must clarify that unfortunately I eat animals, are so tasty, and it is not in my mind to stop eating animals, but I do not like it to be a business, that an animal only live to produce, like cows or chickens.

Nor do I support traditions such as rodeo or other similar, or I do not like zoos, maybe it is something hypocritical because they also suffer when I eat, but it is different.

Hello friends and teacher!

This time I will talk about my year. I thought that this was going to be a good year, but it has not been like that, at least in the period of the university.

For "the New Year's party" I remember that I said it was going to be a happy year and without a lot of complications, but so far I am swallowing my words hahaha, although I do not have to be unfair with what I experienced at the beginning of the year.

My vacations were very entertaining and adventurous,  I think it's the best summer I've ever lived. I went to Punta Arenas with my friends and our girlfriends, we went on vacation with my family to the beach and then I went to Pichilemu with my friends for a week, really great!

However, it has been the most difficult semester I have had, from the academic point of view but above all personal. I didn't had the necessary motivation and missed many things I had
In summary, it was a good start to the year, but it has been stagnating.

I just hope to finish this semester in good shape (I do not promise to spend all of the subjects hahaha), rest with my friends on vacation, go somewhere and and return with all the energy to the second semester.

Hello friends !

In this post I will talk about sports.

Personally, I like high competitive sports. My favorite sport is soccer. I enjoy watching a soccer game more than watching a movie. I watch videos on the internet about old soccer and watch TV shows that talk about football. I love it! I also like tennis and basketball. I dont like football or fighting sports (except boxing).

Although I like soccer very much, I do not practice it much, since I do not have much skill, however I play a lot with my friends "futbolito". Until I was 15 years old I played basketball, it was quite good, but I left it because of lack of motivation, I get very regretful!

I believe that sport is very important socially, since it is so great the emotion it causes that it can convert social realities. For example, thanks to football, people like Arturo Vidal, Gary Medel or Alexis Sanchez stopped being poor. And thanks to them, thousands of children want to leave where they were born and overcome poverty. Also thanks to football, the discrimination is overcome. For example, in France they accepted immigration, due to their selection of African origin.

Hello friends!

This time I will talk about the movies. It's the first theme chosen, but I would not have chosen it, because I'm not really a movie lover. It's too hard for me to start watching a movie, and I'd rather watch a repeated movie than a new movie. I do not like action films, they are very false !.

I enjoy watching drama, comedy or real-life movies.

My favorite movie is "8 Mile". It's the biography of my favorite singer, Eminem. The movie tell his life. His life was quite difficult, it also contains music and a lot of reality.

A film that I recommend is "The Truman Show". It's a story about a social experiment lying on a television show using a person's life. The movie teaches that we are selfish and materialistic.

I feel that the attraction for the movies is something that is instilled from small and I did not see many movies when I was little. The truth I would be interested to see movies, therefore I will read your preferences.

In this post, Im going to talk about one of the characters that I admire. Some consider him the best president in the history of Chile. He is Pedro Aguirre Cerda.

He was born in Pocuro, Valparaíso in 1879, and died in Santiago in 1941, exercising the presidency. He died due to tuberculosis. He died being very popular, so much that after he died a district was founded in his name. It is popularly known as "Don Tinto", because of its link with the wine industry.

In his management, he made the production of the country grow, creating CORFO. He made the Chilean territory grow, since in his government he claimed the Chilean territory in the Antarctic. . But, mainly in his government, education was encouraged, with the motto of "Governing is Education". He also had to take charge of the 1939 earthquake.

I like it because he is an example of efficient Public Administration. However, it must be said that it was another era.

Hello friends!
Why did I choose this career?

Uff !, difficult question !, I guess intuition before all possibilities. The truth is that I had a range of possibilities and tastes.

I think that when I was in the first year of high school my search began on what would be the career to choose. At that time, I only knew that I liked the humanist area, however, I did not know what to study, therefore, I began to discover the different areas.

I spent two years thinking about going to study psychology. I talked to professionals in that career, but it never convinced me.

Then I wanted to study gastronomy (although I do not cook much). I worked as a waiter at a banquet company and I really liked the operation of the kitchen and the service. I did not study the race, but it is still my dream to have a restaurant.

Later I wanted to study Law. I did a Summer School (EdV) at the University of Chile. That's where I dismissed the race, I did not like it.

In the last year I was in doubt between two great careers: Pedagogy in History and Public Administration. Basically I chose the last one by the recommendations of professors and especially of a co-worker (a waiter) who wanted to study the career, and who currently does so.

At the time of choosing I had great doubts, one of the reasons was that the money was greater, but basically it was by intuition and I think I was not wrong :) .

In this week's post, I'll publish my favorite photo. This photo brings me a lot of nostalgia, especially in these days, since we are living the FIFA World Cup.

What a pity to be out of the world cup!

In the picture you can see Charles Aranguiz celebrating Chile's 2-0 against the current world champion in 2014, Spain. In front of Charles, you can see Andrés Iniesta, one of the best players in history, being eliminated by our country.

The context of the photograph is also important. The world champion eliminated. Chile playing well and winning its second game. And we must also consider that it was played at the Maracaná Stadium, a historic venue for world soccer.

Andrés Iniesta was the one who made the only goal in the world cup that Spain won.

In this other photo you can see the same player, Andrés Iniesta being eliminated by the least favorite team, the local, Russia, also, withdrawing from the Spanish team.

Her grandmother decided it after a boss helped her with her previous son, giving her employment. Born on july 27th 1998, in the hospital of Rengo, with some difficulties, He was born post-mature. He is an only child, so very attached with his parents. He grew up in Requínoa, a little village located to the south of Rancagua. In the same town he studied all his period of school, at the San José High School. Currently he is studying Public Administration at the University of Chile, although he is a Colo Colo fan. Nowadays, he travels all the weekends to get together with his girlfriend and with his friends, that is his main hobby, enjoying those moments.
